Yvette Pearson, Ph.D.
Yvette Pearson, Ph.D., is the Chair of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. She is also one of the directors of ODU’s Institute for Ethics and Public Affairs. She teaches primarily undergraduate philosophy courses, including bioethics, other applied ethics courses, and medieval philosophy. Her research interests include ethical and social policy issues related to genetic testing, genetic engineering, human reproduction, and the use of robot caregivers.
